Eben Carr
Eben, a Bay Area native, started setting up mics and running a mixer for a local cable station as a 10 year old volunteer. His love of all things musical, inspired him to call every recording studio in the phone book looking for an internship.
Timing is everything and (years later) he landed an assistant job at the legendary Russian Hill Recording Studios; assisting on film and music projects with Robin Williams, Sofia Coppola, and Geoff Muldaur. When Russian Hill closed, Eben transitioned into an assistant position at Crescendo Studios, one of San Francisco's original boutique recording studios catering to the advertising community.
After designing and building small recording studios for local bands, Eben was hired to design and run Goodby, Silverstein, & Partners’ first in-house audio suite. It is there that he was thrown into a creative powerhouse, helping concept and produce award-winning work for eBay, Comcast, HP, and Superbowl ads for Budweiser and Doritos. Eben’s calm and artistic approach with sound led him to a Senior Engineer position at One Union Recording where he worked on projects for Audi, NBA, EA, Mini, Google, and Adobe.
